Bupa Arabia: Q1 2024 results

Bupa ArabiaBupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance closed the first quarter of 2024 with insurance revenue of 4.4 billion SAR (1.2 billion USD), up by 16% compared with the 3.8 billion SAR (1 billion USD) recorded at the end of March 2023.

Net income after zakat (Islamic tax) climbed by 90.6% from 188.6 million SAR (50.2 million USD) in the first quarter of 2023 to 359.4 million SAR (95.7 million USD) a year later.

For the record, Bupa Arabia has been applying IFRS 17 and IFRS 9 since 1 January 2023.
