Zurich Insurance Group has published its key business indicators for the first nine months of 2024.
The non-life (P&C) segment of the Zurich-based group ended the first three quarters with a turnover of 36.128 billion USD, up by 4% year-on-year. P&C insurance revenue climbed 5% to 33.256 billion USD.
Life written premiums increased by 6% to 12.61 billion USD.
According to the Swiss insurer's estimates, hurricanes Helene and Milton, which struck the United States between September and October 2024, would cost it 160 million USD and 200 million USD respectively.
