On January 31, 2020, Qaw’mane, a 30 year old rapper from Chicago, was sentenced to 99 years in prison for murdering his own mother.
Known as "Young QC", this young man had hired a hitman in 2012 to murder his own mother and receive the latter's life insurance money.
The singer intended to launch a musical career with the death benefit paid by the insurer. Part of the money he received was used to customize the car his mother offered him.
