Tunisian insurance market in H1 2026

According to the General Insurance Committee (CGA), the Tunisian insurance market’s turnover reached 2.529 billion TND (844.2 million USD) as of 30 June 2026, up 13% over one year.

Non-life premiums amounted to 1.755 billion TND (585.8 million USD), against 774 million TND (258.4 million USD) for life and savings insurance.

During the period under review, the claims paid by insurance companies increased by 15.6% to 1.202 billion TND (401.2 million USD).
