Rugby World Cup "France 2023": pandemic risk coverage

The organisers of the Rugby World Cup, to be held in France in 2023, underwrote an insurance policy against the risk of a pandemic, a few months before the appearance of the coronavirus.

At the time of subscription, the pricing conditions for such coverage were extremely favourable, the pandemic being an unknown risk.

The policy covers the 48 matches scheduled for the 45 days of competition.
