Remote-controlled drones, standardization of norms in Europe

The European insurance and reinsurance federation (Insurance Europe) is calling for standardization of technical standards and legal framework for remote-controlled drones. These will now be standardized across Europe based on their size, weight and use (whether commercial or recreational).

This initiative makes it possible for insurers to better tailor their products and adjust their premiums.
