The threat posed by IT attacks is considerably growing in the Middle East. The scale of these attacks has witnessed substantial increase in the region in 2016 where it is now above the global average.
In this part of the world, Saudi Arabia stands as the main target. This country reports the highest number of attacks aimed mainly at paralyzing host servers by submerging them into loads of requests. Two thirds of the servers’ most significant blockages targeted Saudi Kingdom. Iraq and Kuwait rank second and third respectively.
