H1 2026 results for listed Tunisian insurers

The six direct insurers listed on the Tunis Stock Exchange (BVMT), together with reinsurer Tunis Re, recorded combined turnover of 1.082 billion TND (361.2 million USD) in the first half of 2026, representing a 9.8% increase compared with the same period last year.

The six insurers, BH Assurance, Astree, STAR, Assurances Maghrebia, Assurances Maghrebia Vie, and BNA Assurances, accounted for 955.524 million TND (319 million USD) in total premiums written as of 30 June 2026.

Tunis Re, meanwhile, posted turnover of 126.061 million TND (42.2 million USD).
