Generali reported turnover of 53.42 billion EUR (60.9 billion USD) for the first half of 2026, representing a 5.8% year-over-year increase.
Life insurance premiums grew by 5.5% to 33.449 billion EUR (38.2 billion USD), while the non-life (P&C) segment recorded turnover of 19.971 billion EUR (22.7 billion USD), up 6.3% year-over-year.
The P&C combined ratio stood at 91.5%, compared with 91% in the first half of 2025.
The Italian group reported adjusted net profit of 2.543 billion EUR (2.9 billion USD) for the first two quarters of the year, an increase of 13.7% compared with the same period in 2025.
Operating result also improved, rising 11.2% to 4.505 billion EUR (5.1 billion USD).
