Lloyd’s of London: results at end-December 2025

Lloyd’s of London closed 2025 with a turnover of 57.9 billion GBP (78.1 billion USD), up 4.4% from 55.5 billion GBP (69.7 billion USD) a year earlier.

The underwriting result stood at 5.2 billion GBP (7 billion USD), down 1.9% from 5.3 billion GBP (6.7 billion USD) in 2024. The combined ratio deteriorated by 0.7 percentage points to 87.6% (86.9% in 2024).

As of 31 December 2025, net profit before tax reached 10.6 billion GBP (14.3 billion USD), an increase of 10.5% from 9.6 billion GBP (12.1 billion USD) the previous year.
