KIC’s profits jumping in 2014

Kuwait Insurance Company (KIC) reported an increase of 21.5% in profits in 2014, attaining 5.15 million KWD (17.6 million USD) last year, compared to 4.24 million KWD (15 million USD) posted in 2013.

Shareholders' equity went up to attain 60.4 million KWD (206 million USD) on 31 December 2014, compared to 54.1 million KWD (192 million USD) a year earlier.
Founded in 1960, KIC is the largest and oldest insurance company in the country.
