James Ng, new CEO of Hannover Re's Malaysia branch

James Ng has been promoted CEO of the Malaysian branch of Hannover Re, based in Kuala Lumpur.

J. Ng has over 20 years' experience in the Asian insurance and reinsurance industry. Throughout his professional career, he has held senior positions with several companies in Malaysia and Singapore, including MSIG Asia, QBE Insurance, Chubb and Munich Re.

In January 2024, he joined Hannover Re Malaysia as Head of P&C.
