Increased credit risk supported by insurers

Rating agencies are concerned about the rising credit risk borne by insurers. Insurers’ capital increases in the form of debts reached 15.05 billion USD in 2012 compared to 2.31 billion USD in 2009. Chinese life insurers were heavily affected by the slowdown of the local economy experiencing difficulties in honoring their obligations today.
