Fernando Utrilla Agüero, new CFO of Mapfre Re

Fernando Utrilla Agüero has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Mapfre Re, the reinsurance division of the Spanish group Mapfre. He succeeds Daniel Quermia, who is retiring after 40 years of service with the company.

Agüero joined Mapfre Re in May 1994 and, over more than three decades, has held a range of executive roles, most recently serving as Deputy CFO.
