Compulsory motor liability insurance goes digital in Kuwait

Kuwait's Insurance Regulatory Unit (IRU) has launched a digital platform called "Beema".

The new solution allows private vehicle and motorcycle owners to underwrite or renew their compulsory motor third-party liability (TPL) insurance policy online.

The electronic system has been operational, on a trial basis, since 1 January 2024 on the website: http://beema.iru.gov.kw/.
