The Compagnie Commune Africaine de Réassurance (CICA-RE) has published its financial statements ending 31/12/2015. The Togolese reinsurer achieved a turnover of 33.190 billion FCFA (55.3 million USD), up by 9.6% compared to 2014.
Despite this improvement in production, the combined ratio of the company deteriorated by 10 points standing at 86%.
The CIMA zone represents 54% of the company's portfolio, against 29% for the rest of Africa. International business, for its part, account for 17% of premiums.
