CCR Re: excellent 2021 renewals

CCR Re, a subsidiary of the Caisse Centrale de Réassurance (CCR), has achieved excellent renewals on 1 January 2021. At constant exchange rates, the turnover reached 500 million EUR (606.8 million USD), a 12% increase compared to the same period of the previous year.

The company is benefiting from the rate increase and the improvement in the terms and conditions of treaty renewals.

The turnover growth is largely attributable to the company's property-casualty class of business (+13%). The volume of renewed premiums in the life and health activity remains stable.

The French reinsurer expects this positive trend to continue for the upcoming July renewals.
