Boosting the Nigerian insurance market

The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) and the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) have signed a strategic partnership agreement aimed at revolutionizing the Nigerian insurance market.

As part of this agreement, the two institutions have formed a 12-member joint committee. The committee is tasked with steering the collaboration, leveraging the contribution of insurance to the national economy and stimulating the sector's growth in Nigeria.

The partnership also provides for improved services and better alignment of regulatory and operational frameworks for the insurance business.
