Berkshire Hathaway opens a subsidiary in Malaysia

The Malaysian regulatory authority has granted an approval to the American insurer Berkshire Hathaway for the creation of a subsidiary in Kuala Lampur. Operating in non-life insurance, the new entity is headed by Gaithrie Nandrajog.

This facility brings the number of Berkshire Hathaway's subsidiaries in the Asia-Pacific region to four. The group is already present in Singapore, Hong Kong and Macao.
