AXA Switzerland has reached an agreement with Epona, a pet insurance company, to acquire a stake in Epona SA, a new entity created by the Epona cooperative.
The transaction is still pending the approval of the shareholders and the relevant authorities.
The deal allows the Swiss subsidiary of the French group to enter the pet insurance market.
