AM Best affirms Kuwait Insurance Company’s ratings

AM Best has affirmed Kuwait Insurance Company’s (KIC) Financial Strength Rating of A- (Excellent) and Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating of a- (Excellent), with a stable outlook.

The ratings reflect KIC’s strong balance sheet, limited business profile, and appropriate business risk management practices.

According to AM Best, the company continues to demonstrate strong operating performance, supported by an average combined ratio of 87.2% and an average return on equity (ROE) of 12% over the 2023-2025 period.
