Allianz remains in Egypt

Contrary to rumors, the German insurer Allianz Insurance has confirmed its intention not to leave Egypt despite the deteriorating political and social situation. The group, which is active in non-life insurance through Allianz Egypt and life insurance with Allianz Life Insurance Egypt, said it would rather intensify its activities there. Allianz has 45 000 clients and 13 subsidiaries nationwide.
