Ageas to sell its stake in Maybank Ageas Holdings Berhad

Ageas has agreed to sell its 30.95% stake in the Malaysian joint venture Maybank Ageas Holdings Berhad to Maybank for 1.1 billion EUR (1.3 billion USD).

Upon completion of the transaction, Maybank will become the sole shareholder of the joint venture.

Pending regulatory approvals, the transaction is expected to be completed in 2026.
