Africa Re signs partnership agreement with UNICEF

Africa Re has entered into a partnership with the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) on 19 June 2025.

Under this agreement, the pan-African reinsurer will contribute 1.5 million USD over five years to UNICEF to support UNICEF’s efforts in promoting climate change education and environmental skills development among children and young people in Nigeria.

The collaboration aims to equip the next generation with the knowledge and practical skills needed to respond to the climate crisis and actively participate in implementing climate adaptation solutions, contributing to a more sustainable future for Nigeria.
