Raman Pal Hora has been promoted to Head of Bancassurance at Zurich Kotak General Insurance.
A graduate of the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore and the Institute of Management Technology in Ghaziabad (India), R. Pal Hora has over 25 years' experience in the banking and insurance sector.
Throughout his professional career, he held senior positions with several Indian companies, including ICICI Lombard and HDFC ERGO General Insurance.
In May 2024, he joined Zurich Kotak General Insurance as Senior Executive Vice President.
In June 2024, Zurich Insurance acquired a 70% stake in Kotak Mahindra General Insurance. Following this takeover, the Indian insurer was renamed Zurich Kotak General Insurance.
