Staging an accident to get indemnified

Alexander Goldinsky, a 57-year-old employee from New Jersey, was arrested on 15 January 2019 for fraud and false insurance claim.

Having not suspected the existence of a surveillance camera, Alexander simulated a slip and fall accident in his workplace in order to receive compensation. The accused threw ice on the ground before lying down.

He remained on the floor until his colleagues discovered him. He then filed a fake insurance claim for ambulance service and treatment he received at the hospital.

The man was released on bail pending his appearance in court.
