According to the broker Aon, the political risk insurance market is booming.
In the last twelve months, quotations and underwritings for these types of guarantees have increased by 22% and 35% worldwide.
Political instability, falling commodity prices and the spread of terrorism risk to all continents are the main reasons for this breakthrough.
