Insurance fraud could lead to imprisonment in Ireland

Insurance fraud can now bring about prison sentence in Ireland. The adoption of this bill is all the more urgent as fraudulent practices are becoming more widespread in the country.

According to the Motor Insurers' Bureau of Ireland, insurers are reporting one suspicious case out of every eight claims received.
