Green card, 8% decrease in the number of claims in 2012

According to the report presented by Cees Werff, Senior executive vice president of InterEurope AG, at the International Insurance Forum (IIF 2014), the number of claims recorded by the Green Card system rose to 350 000 in 2012. This figure represents a reduction of 8.14% compared to 381 000 cases reported in 2010.

C. Werff said that the management of accidents involving foreign vehicles remain subject to the laws in force in the country concerned.
