MS & AD Insurance Group Holdings is becoming the greatest non life insurer in Japan. It was born from the tripartite merger between Mitsu Sumitomo Insurance Group Holding, Aioi Insurance and Nissay Dowa General Insurance. This move has been effective as of April 1, 2010.
