Amendment of the laws governing the insurance sector

The government and the Jordanian insurance federation are preparing an amendment to the legislation governing the sector by the end of the current year. On the request of the companies, whose annual losses range between 5 and 6 million JOD (7 and 8 million USD), the project is designed to increase motor insurance premiums.
