Africa Re joins in the fight against Ebola

Africa Re has expressed its support for the fight against Ebola virus at a meeting of key ambassadors of African countries held in the premises of the Ugandan Embassy in Nigeria.

The company’s participation will consist of a donation to the most affected States, namely Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea where more than 5 000 people have lost their lives.

Africa Re, whose premiums come in part from these countries, deems that it is bound by its status as the continent’s leading reinsurer to assist countries most affected by the virus.
