Insurance fraud becomes worrisome

Insurance companies, CAAR, SAA and CAAT, have joined forces in order to establish the anti-motor fraud agency (ALFA). This decision resulted from the alarming finding made by insurers about the worrying dimensions of fraud. A survey found that 20% of claims reports are fraudulent, and cause important financial losses in motor insurance. Over the last ten years, Algerian insurers have recovered 800 million DZD (10.6 million USD) thanks to fraud identification.
