Hurricane Isaias made landfall in Florida, in the southeastern United States, on 9 October 2026, bringing strong winds and heavy rainfall.
As of 10 October, the storm had claimed four lives, while more than 600,000 homes and businesses remained without power. Property damage included uprooted trees, damaged buildings, and widespread debris.
Initially classified as a Category 2 hurricane, Isaias rapidly weakened as it moved over Alabama and was subsequently downgraded to a post-tropical cyclone.
