The government has published the list of foreign reinsurance brokers licensed to place Algerian risks

According to the Algerian legislation, the activity of foreign reinsurance brokers in Algeria is subject to prior authorization, granted by the insurance supervisory commission and approved by executive decree. This authorization is valid for three years. The companies authorized to place Algerian business are: Aon Limited, Atlas Reinsurance Consultants (ARC), African Reinsurance Brokers (ARB), Chedid Europe Reinsurance Brokers Ltd, Ckre Ltd, Gras Savoye S.A., Guy Carpenter & Co. Ltd, J.B. Boda Reinsurance Brokers Private Ltd, Lockton (MENA)Ltd, Marsh S.A. France, Marsh S.A. Mediadores de Seguros, Nasco Karaoglan France (NKF), Rfib Group Ltd, United Insurance Brokers Ltd (UIB), Verspieren Global Markets, Willis Ltd.
