Before taking over the aircraft's control , some pilots require more in-depth training on the Boeing 737 MAX. The pilots' distrust towards the U.S. manufacturer follows the two air disasters which killed 346 people and grounded all Boeing 737 MAX jets.
The aircraft manufacturer is convinced that computer-based training is sufficient for pilots who are already certified on earlier versions of the 737.
Only two simulators for 737 MAX exist, one in Florida and the other in Canada. According to Boeing, two more simulators will be operational by the end of 2019. It is this cruel lack of equipment that has urged Boeing to offer computer-based training.
