Lloyd's Europe : new appointments

Lloyd's Insurance Company (LIC), the Belgian subsidiary of the British group, is proceeding with several appointments. These concern management positions within its branch in the United Kingdom.

Mark Cooper has been appointed as Head of the company, replacing Keith Stern, who has served as Branch Manager of LIC UK since its creation in 2018.

Cooper will retain his role as Head of European Divisions and Chief Market Development Officer at LIC at the same time.

The appointment, which is still pending regulatory approval, is effective as of 1 November 2021.

Effective as of 6 December 2021, David Jackson is appointed Senior Underwriting Manager and Kirstie Keate becomes Underwriting Manager.

Created in 2018, Lloyd's Europe (Lloyd's Brussels) is authorized to conduct insurance and reinsurance activities in the countries of the European Economic Area (EEA).

The subsidiary also has a temporary license to operate in the United Kingdom. LIC expects to receive full regulatory approval by the second quarter of 2022.
