Germany dedicates EUR 50 million to drought insurance in Africa

Germany is contributing with EUR 50 million in the project of the African Risk Capacity, an insurance cover against drought for African countries. EUR 46 million will be allocated to the insurance itself, the rest will serve the technical assistance for the establishment of the fund.
