DB Insurance completes acquisition of Fortegra

South Korean insurer DB Insurance has completed its acquisition of Fortegra, a Florida-based specialty insurance company.

Under the terms of the transaction, announced on 26 September 2025, DB Insurance acquired a 100% stake in Fortegra from U.S. holding company Tiptree and Warburg Pincus for 1.6 billion USD.

Fortegra will continue to operate independently, retaining its current management team and distribution network.
