Fitch Ratings assigns first-time “A+” rating to Deutsche Rück Group

Fitch Ratings has assigned an “A+” insurer financial strength (IFS) rating to Deutsche Rück Group for the first time. The rating carries a stable outlook.

The rating applies to Deutsche Rückversicherung AG and Deutsche Rückversicherung Schweiz AG.

According to the agency, the rating reflects the group's strong capitalization, solid competitive position, and robust financial performance.

With this latest assessment, Deutsche Rück Group now holds an “A+” rating from Fitch Ratings and an “A+” rating from S&P Global Ratings.
