Jacques de Vaucleroy elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of Swiss Re

Swiss Re has elected Jacques de Vaucleroy as Chairman of its Board of Directors.

J. de Vaucleroy was chosen by the reinsurer's Governance and Nomination Committee to succeed Sergio P. Ermotti, who stepped down in April 2023.

Shareholders approved this appointment during the company's Annual General Meeting held on 12 April 2024.

Other resolutions adopted by shareholders included:

• the distribution of a dividend of 6.8 USD per share,
• the re-election of all Board members for a one-year term,
• the election of Geraldine Matchett as a new Board member for a one-year term
• the compensation of the Board of Directors and the Group Executive Committee
• the company's annual report, as well as its annual and consolidated financial statements for the year 2023
