Shriram General Insurance: promotion of Aftab Alvi

Aftab Alvi has been promoted to the position of Executive Director and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Shriram General Insurance.

A graduate of Lucknow University and the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, A. Alvi joined the Indian conglomerate Shriram Group in 1996.

During his 28 years with the company, he held a number of senior positions within several subsidiaries, including the non-life insurance division.

Prior to his recent promotion, A. Alvi served as President and National Head of Bancassurance at Shriram General Insurance.
