Zurich Insurance appoints Amit Kalra as Head of Global Capability Center

Amit Kalra has been appointed Head of the Global Capability Center, a unit recently established by Zurich Insurance, effective 1 July 2026.

Based in Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana in southern India, the Global Capability Center serves as a hub of expertise focused on integrating emerging technologies and artificial intelligence.

Mr. Kalra joins Zurich Insurance after nearly 20 years with Swiss Re, where he held several leadership roles in India.
