A woman swindles 2.75 million USD from insurers

Mary-Rose Ponce Calderon, a New Zealand woman, managed to extract 2.75 million USD from her various insurers. In 16 months, the offender has subscribed online three life insurance policies with different companies under false names to subsequently simulate her death and pocket the subscribed capital.

However, Mary-Rose was was caught for her last attempt and sentenced to three years and three months in prison.
