Vienna Insurance Group (VIG) has released its financial results for the first half of 2026.
The Austrian insurer closed the first six months of the current year with pre-tax result of 641.5 million EUR (731.7 million USD), up 20.7% in one year.
Insurance service revenue amounted to 6.8 billion EUR (7.8 billion USD), a 7.1% increase over the past twelve months.
Gross written premiums grew by 5.4% to 9 billion EUR (10.3 billion USD) while the net combined ratio improved by 0.5 point to 91.4%.
The company’s equity stood at 7.6 billion EUR (8.7 billion USD).
