Tunisia to set up a Covid-19 vaccination campaign

vaccine covid-19Faouzi Mehdi, Tunisian’s Health Minister says Tunisia has ordered 2 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine. The choice was made for RNA technology vaccines and discussions are still held to bring additional doses in order to vaccinate 50% of the population.

According to the same source, each governorate will have its regional vaccination centre and nearly 300 centres will be created in the different delegations. Another important point is that mobile teams will be set up to reach the citizens who are unable to reach the vaccination points.

People aged 60 and over, health and vital professions staff and people at risk will be vaccinated as a priority.
