As at 30 June 2024, Tunis Re reported a turnover of 118.558 million TND (37.6 million USD), up 12.5% compared to the same period of 2023.
Non-life premiums grew by 10% to 99.758 million TND (31.6 million USD) while those of the life business rose by 4% to 4.919 million TND (1.6 million USD ).
The Retakaful activity closed the first half of the current year with a 43% turnover growth to 13.881 million TND (4.4 million USD).
The incurred losses stood at 81.633 million TND (25.9 million USD), down 2.3% over one year.
The financial income amounted to 16.055 million TND ( 5.1 million USD) against 14.136 million TND (4.6 million USD ) at the end of June 2023, that is an increase of 13.6%.
At TND 12.292 million (USD 3.9 million), the half-year net income was up 19.5% compared with the 10.816 million TND (USD 3.5 million) recorded in the first half of 2023.
