Tunis Re celebrates its 30th anniversary

Founded by the supervisory authorities, with shareholders made up of local insurers and bankers, Tunis Re has been partially listed in the course of the previous year. The 2010 turnover is estimated at 71.5 million TND (50.1 million USD) up of 18% compared to 2009.
Tunis Re, the first local reinsurer, is particularly active in North Africa, in the South of the Sahara and in the Middle East. The current capital of the company is 45 million TND (31.5 million USD) and is granted a B + rating from AM Best.
