Trade credit insurance product for exports to Zimbabwe

Invent Multiple Agents and Actuaries (Invent), a Zimbabwean actuarial consultancy firm, has developed a trade credit insurance product to cover exports to Zimbabwe from South Africa.

The new policy was designed in partnership with Asset Finance Insurance South Africa (AFI), South Africa's sole asset finance credit insurer, and South African broker Fachs Reinsurance Brokers (Fachs).

This initiative is aimed at promoting trade between the two countries, thus contributing to the trade objectives of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
