Talks for the establishment of a takaful insurance company in Algeria

The local development bank (BDL) is in talks with an insurance company for the establishment of a new entity specialized in takaful insurance.

If this initiative came to materialize, the market would count a second company able to offer Islamic insurance products after Salama Assurance.
